Sullivans Run Farm is located 15klm from the picturesque town of Wangaratta, it is home to some of the best bloodlines of the speed quarter horse in Australia today.
The Stallion Sullivans Run brings the finest in pedigree, conformation & temperament to our speed horse program. He is the son of the All American Derby winner Stoli, who in turn is a son of the best sire in the history of quarter horse racing, FIRST DOWN DASH.
Sullivans Rocket is the only son of The All American Derby winner Brimmerton in Australia and provides another grandson of the great First Down Dash to our shores.
Sullivans Run farm is also home to outstanding mares, combining conformation & speed is the blood of horses with good minds.
These mares crossed with carefully selected sires produce foals suited for speed (a prerequisite for breeding all quarter horses) on the track or around barrels – while their good minds give them the temperament for performance in the arena, on the trail or for leisure.
We spend a lot of time with our foals so they are easy to work with, each colt or filly is trusting, willing and easy to love.
Our farm pays special attention to nutrition and hoof care, whilst our farm and pastures is chemical and synthetic fertilizer free.
