Watchmetale was a talented racehorse trained by Adrian Ireland, her race career cut short by a foot injury, by the great sire in Model Bird and from  Millbrook Tell Tale who was by Ima Go Man a prolific siring son of the great Go Man Go AQHA Hall of Fame

1955, 1956 & 1957 AQHA World Champion Quarter Racing Stallion. Tales to Tell the dam of Millbrook Tell Tale was the dam of exceptional runners including Millbrook Vapour Trail (x Jetalong), Millbrook Ima Speedtrap (x Ima Go Man)

Model Bird was a brilliant Racehorse,  trained by Matt Craven with 9 Wins, 6 seconds, 6 thirds, 4 fourths. 2 records at 400m – AAA Time – 96 Speed Rating AAAT at 600m Speed Index 110 as per AJC performance Records.

As a sire Model Bird continued to be as good a sire as he was a racehorse siring Bellard Bird the winner of the All Australian Futurity in 1993 other notable winners include:
